husky26 this feels like a warm memory. truly an experience, i get so sad while listening to it, it enhances my nostalgia by like 300%... the caretaker is a genius, thank u for these works. Favorite track: A relationship with the sublime.

Mount_Mourn A haunted sounding record where the surface noise of it's source material becomes another instrument in the mix. Time stopping stuff. Favorite track: Libet's delay.

anerbe This album can hit you like a semi truck on fire if you listen to it when you're feeling just a bit nostalgic or anxious. Trying my best to not say what's already been said. Great album to rot in bed and think about your life. Favorite track: Camaraderie at arms length.

about

The Caretaker conjures a quieter, more introspective spirit, lost in his own mind amidst a low-lit labyrinth of ever-decaying and antediluvian shellac phrases. Sourced from a mysterious collection of 78s, these vague snippets of archaic sonics reflect the ability of Alzheimers patients to recall the songs of their past, and with them recollections of places, people, moods and sensations.
